A unique 26 hole championship golf course; a view of the sea from every tee; eight holes played on the now world famous Old Course – The Point, sometimes described a North Wales' Pebble Beach – a narrow peninsula with holes bounded on one side by secluded coves, rocky outcrops and the sea and on the other by a glorious stretch of sandy beach and a pub; a backdrop of the Snowdonia range to the east and, on a clear sunny evening, 57 miles away, the Wicklow mountains of southern Ireland to the West. Welcome to golf at Nefyn.
Nefyn is a golf course that can be enjoyed by golfers of every standard because in the case of so many of its holes, it invites the golfer to create the challenge – in a phrase, "you do it the easy way or the hard way, the risk or reward is of one's own making!"

Directions:
(From nearest motorway/main road) | | Nefyn & District Golf Club is located in the village of Morfa Nefyn, on the Llyn Peninsula in North West Wales and is easily accessible by air, road and sea.
From the North West
A55 from Chester to Bangor. Take the A487 exit to Caernarfon/Llanwnda. At the roundabout in Llanwnda, take the A499 to Pwllheli/Llanaelhaiarn. On reaching Llanaelhaiarn (careful not to miss the turning), take the B4417 to Nefyn via Llithfaen and Pistyll. On reaching mini roundabout in Nefyn, follow the B4417 turning right to Morfa Nefyn.
At the cross roads in Morfa Nefyn, turn off the B4417 onto the B4412, Lon Pen Rhos, which leads directly onto Lon Golff at which point the golf club can be seen at the top of the hill.
From the South
A497 from Pwllheli to Nefyn. At the first roundabout, approximately 6 miles, take the B4412 to Morfa Nefyn (straight across).
At the cross roads in Morfa Nefyn, go straight across continuing on the B4412, Lon Pen Rhos, which leads directly onto Lon Golff at which point the golf club can be seen at the top of the hill. |
